Back to the regular world....

FINALLY EXAMS ARE FINISHED!

After 5 weeks of stressful exams, they finally came to an end on Friday. They were all very tough to say the least but will have to wait till the end of June for the results... eeeek!

So what does a girl who's been locked away for 5 weeks do after freedom?.... Obviously shop!

After spending 10 hours in the Uni beer garden sunbathing and drinking Pimm's on Friday, I needed a break from the sun so myself and two of my housemates hit the shops for a bit of Retail Therapy. As per usual we went to the Oracle Shopping centre in Reading. I'm a massive fan of this shopping centre as all the shops we love are there and they are all good size so no lack of clothes.

Topshop was first on the cards (obviously). Here I brought a pink Pleated Dip Hem Skirt for £28. This can be seen here. I just love the ease of the skirt.. its so easy to dress up or dress down for the summer with a nice white top and sandals. I loved this skirt so much, I had to wear it out to the pub last night. It definitely elongates your legs so works well for petite girls.

I could easily have spent my entire budget in Topshop but I stopped myself and we moved onto H&M. I was a little disappointed with their collection even though I had been quite impressed when I saw a few pieces I liked online last week. I think I must have been unlucky yesterday. But I came away with a pastel green light-weight knitted jumper so perfect for the chilly evenings in the summer. Priced at £29.99, it was quite pricey for H&M however I had been looking for a jumper like this for a while I just had to have it. Its very similar to the jumper that Caggie Dunlop wears in Made in Chelsea. I just can't wait to match it with my pastel jeans and pumps.

New Look I walked away with a new Maxi dress for my summer holidays in a few weeks. I can't normally pull off a maxi dress as I'm a tad small however this dress fitted perfectly so I brought it. I also got a cream snake print clutch bag which I also could not resist bringing it out last night. It also has a thing gold strap in case you didn't want to carry it all night. This can be brought online here.

River Island had some really nice pieces and their dresses were especially nice. I came away with another Dip Hem skirt but in Black. It's slightly longer then the Topshop one but I just find them so easy to wear. I can't wait to whip it out for those summer BBQ's with a nice pair of sandals. Again, it really makes your legs look amazing! It can be purchased online here for £22.

Retail Therapy! Pink skirt - Topshop, Pastel green jumper - H&M, Cream Clutch Bag and Maxi - New Look, Black skirt - River Island.
So I can definately say it was a sucessful shopping day and I hope to have many more in the next few weeks! I Loveeeeee summer shopping!

Now I'm off for another Pimms in the garden.

Loves and Kisses
